FanDuel NFL Week 11 Picks and Advice: Tight End

Tight end on FanDuel this week is simple, you search Taysom Hill’s ($4,500) name and then click the green plus sign next to it. It does not even matter if he does lose snaps to Winston and the whole starting quarterback announcement is a mirage, as his chances to score a touchdown and put up yardage are better than any other tight end.

Even if Mark Andrews ($6,500) was the same price as Hill, I would go with Hill. Even though he will probably be the most rostered player of the year, do not get cute; play the starting quarterback against the Atlanta Falcons in your tight end slot.

FanDuel NFL Week 11 Picks and Advice: D/ST

If you have the money, Pittsburgh ($5,000) and Miami ($4,800) are both smash plays, though as always I recommend punting the defense. Philadelphia ($4,000) represents a solid defense against a relatively week offense that should be in a low-scoring game.

Carolina ($3,500) may be my favorite value, as they are incredibly cheap and get to face a Detroit offense without their top RB and WR and with a banged-up QB. If you are super low on cash, you could do worse than Atlanta ($3,200), who should get a few points from turnovers against the Hill/Winston combo.

FanDuel NFL Week 11 Lineup

  • QB Ben Roethlisberger – $8,000
  • RB Dalvin Cook – $10,500
  • RB Derrick Henry – $8,200
  • WR Terry McLaurin – $7,300
  • WR Brandin Cooks – $6,100
  • WR Jakobi Meyers – $6,000
  • TE Taysom Hill – $4,500
  • FLEX Kalen Ballage – $5,800
  • D/ST Carolina – $3,500

This lineup very clearly shows the savings you get by going with Taysom Hill and Carolina defense. Because of them, we are able to play two of the top three priced running backs and still throw in Terry McLaurin. Throw in the volume that Ballage, Meyers and Cooks are all likely to receive, and this lineup is sure to cash out.

Admittedly, this is a very safe lineup that will fare better in cash formats than tournaments. If you want to modify it for a tournament, consider throwing in Lamar Jackson at QB and maybe making the slight downgrade from Cook to Kamara. You could also swap out Meyers and Cooks for receivers with more risk but higher touchdown upside like Mike Williams or Marvin Jones Jr.

Regardless of your eventual lineup, best of luck in your Week 11 FanDuel DFS endeavors.
