FanDuel NFL Week 11 Picks and Advice: Wide Receiver

If you spend up at running back as recommended, you may not have as much money left to spend on wide receivers. Luckily, I do not love the top guys as much as normal and I think there is plenty of value to be had with the mid-range receivers.

Of the top receivers, Keenan Allen ($8,000) against the Jets is my favorite, with Terry McLaurin ($7,600) against the Bengals close behind. Both of these guys are extremely talented players with plus matchups and could easily find themselves as top five plays on the week.

Justin Jefferson ($6,700) is having a historical rookie season and should be in for another big game against an atrocious Dallas defense. You can certainly talk yourself into the Dalvin Cook domination narrative and while that remains a real possibility and a reason to avoid Jefferson in cash formats, he is one of my favorite tournament plays at the wide receiver position this week with his ability to break a big play at any moment and insane yards per catch.

As for the cheaper plays, I like Brandin Cooks ($6,100), Jakobi Meyers ($6,000), and Allen Lazard ($5,500) if he is healthy. All these players should be in line for a high target count, and opportunity is really all you are looking for at this price range, especially in cash formats.

As for wideouts I am avoiding in Week 11, it is extremely hard for me to justify putting Michael Thomas ($8,200) into my lineups at his price. He has only 14 fantasy points in his three games played and now has to deal with a Taysom Hill led offense.

Same thing with A.J. Brown ($7,500) and Will Fuller V ($7,100) who are both extremely talented receivers but have cornerback matchups that make you want to pivot to similarly priced options with plus matchups.
