Stud: Calvin Ridley

Calvin Ridley, who had been questionable throughout the week leading up to the game with injury concerns, came up big for the Falcons in this game. So far this season, when Ridley takes the field he has produced for the Falcons, and that was once again the case against the Saints on Sunday.

More from NFL Spin Zone

In the game, Ridley led the way for the passing attack and the receiving group throughout the game, although Atlanta struggled for most of the contest through the air. The wide receiver finished with a team-best 90 yards receiving on five catches and nine targets, recording a game-long reception of 46 yards.

The passing game struggled for most of the game for the Falcons, but Ridley was one player that stepped up on the road this week.

Dud: Pressure on the quarterback

One of the biggest concerns throughout the game this weekend for the Falcons was the pressure on quarterback Matt Ryan that the Saints were able to accomplish throughout the game.

During the course of the contest, Atlanta saw Ryan sacked a total of eight times for 36 yards, which put a halt to basically anything the Falcons were able to try and do on the offensive side of the ball.

With that pressure on Ryan all game long, Atlanta was able to throw for only 232 yards while rushing for 52 yards as a team, also not being able to find the endzone throughout the game.
