Packers vs. Colts: 5 Bold predictions for Green Bay vs. Indianapolis in Week 11
4. Packers pick off Rivers at least twice
The Philip Rivers era in Indianapolis did not get off to the best start in terms of stabilizing the offense. In his first two games, Rivers threw three interceptions with just two touchdowns, even if he completed over 75 percent of his passes. Moreover, he had five interceptions and just four touchdowns over the first five games of his tenure with the Colts.

Since then, however, the veteran quarterback has started to turn things around. Over his last four games, Rivers has seven touchdown passes and just two interceptions to his credit. However, it’s worth noting that in three games against the Bengals, Lions and Titans, all of which are bad pass defenses, he had all of his touchdowns and just one pick. Against Baltimore, he completed under 60 percent of his passes with one interception and no scores.
While the Packers pass defense may not be as good as the Ravens’, they offer many of the same things. Jaire Alexander is a lockdown cornerback and the safety play has been good. Moreover, Za’Darius and Preston Smith are terrific at generating pressure, especially if Mike Pettine dials up the blitz around them.
Rivers’ recent run is a bit smoke and mirrors as he’s simply had advantageous matchups. That won’t be the case with Green Bay coming to town, though. Instead, the Pack will rattle the veteran and force him into a multiple-interception game on Sunday.
