NFL Power Rankings 2020, Week 12: Chiefs claim No. 1 spot, Packers drop again
Suffice it to say that the Tennessee Titans have the Baltimore Ravens’ number. Despite the fact that the viability of the Titans defense has been called into question more than a few times this season, they had a gameplan ready for Lamar Jackson and Co. and executed it well.
To be sure, the Tennessee defense still had its share of troubles as the Ravens had more success on Sunday moving the ball than they have in recent weeks. However, the Titans had their own answers against the vaunted Baltimore defense as they consistently moved the ball on the ground and through the air.
In the playoff victory for the Titans last season, running back Derrick Henry controlled every second of the action as he came just short of 200 yards rushing. Thus, it was fitting that he got the game-winning touch in overtime, rushing for 29 yards into the end zone to get the win.
Now at 7-3 on the season, the Titans are deadlocked with the Colts in the AFC South but, after last week when Indy trounced Tennessee, they are still in second place. Regardless, this is a quality offense that, if they can figure out anything on defense, could make playoff noise again.
