4. Bears front seven must make Rodgers uncomfortable

The Chicago Bears’ front seven needs to put pressure on Packers quarterback Arron Rodgers. Whenever a quarterback is under pressure he’ll miss passes. Even all-time greats like Rodgers make mistakes when under pressure.

That’s been the case for Rodgers against the Bears in the Matt Nagy era. In four games, the Bears have sacked him 13 times. Because of that, his completion percentage has taken a hit. Rodgers has completed about 65 percent of his career passes but in the past two seasons, his completion percentage is just 58 percent. Additionally, in 2018 he threw just two interceptions, and one of them was against the Bears.

This is where the Bears’ “Three Amigos”, a.k.a. Khalil Mack, Akiem Hicks, and Robert Quinn come in. This is the reason why the Bears formed the trio. The three are known for putting a lot of pressure on quarterbacks. They have to their best to get to Rodgers.

That job may be tougher to do with Hicks’ status. He pulled a hamstring two weeks ago against the Vikings. He hasn’t practiced but he’ll likely go for it on Sunday night.

Also, Quinn has to have a breakout game. With just one sack (which came on his first snap of the season) to his name, he’s been a disappointment. If he wants to endear himself to Chicago Bears Nation he needs to have a big game against the Packers.
