FanDuel NFL Week 13 Picks and Advice: Running Back

In Week 13, Dalvin Cook ($10,500) and Derrick Henry ($10,000) are in a tier of their own. While you should aim to get at least one of them in your cash lineup, their steep price makes it near impossible to get both in one lineup.

Nick Chubb ($8,700) is the clear pivot from these top two options if you want to spend up somewhere else and he could easily end up as the RB1 on the slate with his game-breaking ability.

However, the strongest value on this slate could very well be Austin Ekeler ($7,000) who is extremely underpriced despite handling 25 touches and seeing 16 targets in his Week 12 return. I fully expect similar numbers in Week 13, and even though half PPR scoring is not ideal for Ekeler, he will easily return value at only $7,000.

Kareem Hunt at $6,300 is dirt cheap, although he is hard to trust after a Week 12 dud. He could make for a strong tournament play as a pivot off Nick Chubb, though it is hard to trust him in cash without his usual receiving workload.

Finally, even though Devontae Booker ($6,000) was somewhat priced up with the expectance of a Josh Jacobs absence, he is still an incredibly strong value and has the talent to get it done against a terrible Jets defense. With his passing game involvement giving him a higher floor, you are essentially getting Josh Jacobs points at a discount.

As for running backs I am avoiding, Aaron Jones ($8,400), Alvin Kamara ($7,500) and Miles Sanders ($7,200) are all no-gos for me in cash formats, as their timeshares and lack of involvement recently have been quite concerning. This same line of reasoning makes them all strong tournament plays, as they will likely come in with a low roster percentage and they all have the talent to put up a top-five week but their low floor makes them hard to trust in cash.
