Previous: 31st. Jacksonville Jaguars. 31. team. 52. .

The New York Jets almost messed things up by winning and even worse, the Jacksonville Jaguars were nearly victorious as well which would have meant they wouldn’t have had the No. 1 pick either. Sure, there are those who still think a team needs to try and win every game and if we are being honest, the players out there are doing just that. But still, the best thing for this team is to focus on 2021, because they’re not doing anything at 1-11.

Even so, the players are out there doing everything they can. Mike Glennon was giving it his all as he had 280 yards with a touchdown and two picks and James Robinson continued to run hard for them. The rookie running back had 78 yards and a touchdown and another rookie also scored as Laviska Shenault, Jr. had a highlight-reel touchdown.

It was enough to send the game to overtime, although Jacksonville needed some help. Dan Bailey missed two extra points for the Vikings and even had a 51-yard field goal sail wide at the end of regulation. Bailey did finally knock in a chip shot in overtime, as the Jags fell by a score of 27-24. They’re still within striking distance of the No. 1 pick and should secure either Trevor Lawrence or Justin Fields, which will make this frustrating season worth it.
