Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 2: Defense gets 4 sacks, forces 2 INTs

Many people have pointed to different reasons as to why the Ravens offense hasn’t been as lethal or dynamic in 2020 as it was last season. Lamar Jackson certainly hasn’t been the same player, the pass-catchers have struggled and the running backs haven’t been as effective either.

But when you really get down to it, the offensive line has been arguably the biggest issue in Baltimore. Even before they lost left tackle Ronnie Stanley for the season due to injury, the line was feeling the effects of Marshal Yanda’s retirement and it affected everything negatively. Jackson and the rushing attack simply weren’t and aren’t seeing the same level of protection.

For all of the faults that the Cowboys defense possesses, they have a more than capable pass rush. The group of DeMarcus Lawrence, Aldon Smith (if he plays) and now Randy Gregory, among others, has been consistent at generating pressure. If they can do that and bottle up Jackson if he tries to scramble on the edges, Dallas can cause this ailing offense more problems.

That’s exactly what they’ll do on Tuesday night. With almost two weeks to plan for this game, the Cowboys defensive unit will have the right measures ready to attack Baltimore and will make for a long night for Jackson. Not only will they bring him to the turf four times in Week 13 but they’ll force him into two picks as well.
