FanDuel NFL picks and lineup advice for Week 14 DFS fantasy football.

Welcome back to another week of FanDuel NFL DFS advice. Week 13 was a nice return to normalcy after a hectic Week 12, and with no huge COVID news thus far, Week 14 looks to be the same. Whether you are an every-week DFS fantasy football player or possibly looking for a new way to have skin in the game after missing out on your fantasy football playoffs, Week 14 is shaping up to be a fantastic slate with plenty of fantastic games to take advantage of.

Looking at the games on the Week 14 slate, there are no teams on bye. However, the Steelers, Bills, Ravens, and Browns are all playing in primetime and will therefore not be available for the main slate. In addition, the Rams and Patriots have already played their Week 14 matchup.

When talking about players I will reference the salaries and salary cap of a typical FanDuel tournament. I will also show a complete lineup, which consists of nine positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, DEF. The players referenced will all be from the main Sunday game slate. Note that your individual strategy should change based on the type of formats you enter, and I will reference strong plays in cash and tournament formats.

Without further ado, here are my FanDuel NFL DFS picks for the Week 14 main slate!

FanDuel NFL Week 14 Picks and Advice: Quarterback

There are plenty of strong options at quarterback at nearly every price range this week. While you have Aaron Rodgers ($9,100), Russell Wilson ($9,000), and Patrick Mahomes ($8,900) as the obvious studs this week, I would actually prefer to go with a cheaper quarterback this week in cash formats.

Even though Justin Herbert ($8,300) put up a dud last week, that was really his first bad performance all year and I would be more than happy to go back to him this week against a terrible Atlanta defense, even in cash formats.

Ryan Tannehill ($7,900) and Kirk Cousins ($7,500) also have plus matchups and have shown that they have the talent to put up a top-five finish. I would almost feel more confident in Cousins, as his volume should be solidified by the fact the Vikings are 6.5 point underdogs as opposed to the Titans who may be able to beat the Jaguars with Derrick Henry alone.

While I would not want to go too much lower than Cousins in cash, there are a ton of dirt-cheap options that can make for interesting stacks in tournaments. Philip Rivers ($7,000) has thrown for multiple passing touchdowns three weeks in a row and gets a great matchup against Las Vegas. Mitchell Trubisky ($6,800) and Mike Glennon ($6,600) may be painful to add into your lineup, but both have fantastic matchups that could result in a 250+ yard, 2+ touchdown performance that will pay off their price tag.

As for quarterbacks I am fading, Kyler Murray ($8,100) has not looked himself these past two weeks, something that is not likely to change against a tough Giants defense. Deshaun Watson ($8,000) was clearly missing Will Fuller in Week 14 and now draws a tough matchup against Chicago. Even though Chicago has appeared more vulnerable in the past two weeks, Watson offers almost no upside with his banged-up receiving corps.

Finally, I think that this is the week that Taysom Hill ($7,700) posts a dud. Even though his rushing yardage will always keep him in the double digits, I think the Saints try to slow down the game through the run and their elite defense. I would expect a low scoring game that drastically lowers Hill’s upside.
