Minnesota Vikings: Studs and duds from Week 15 vs. Bears
Stud: Dan Bailey didn’t collapse again
Over the past few weeks, Vikings kicker Dan Bailey has struggled with both extra points and field goals in general that have hurt Minnesota more often than not. Coming into the game, the veteran kicker had missed a combined seven field goals over the past few weeks, but he managed to do a decent job for a change in Week 15 against Chicago.

In the contest, Bailey managed to go a perfect 5-for-5 on his kicking attempts, which was a good thing to see after struggling for the last few weeks. It didn’t ultimately matter in the end, but at least we didn’t see him collapse once again.
Dud: Run defense
As much success that Dalvin Cook and company were able to get on the Vikings’ side of the field, David Montgomery and the Bears offense was having similar success on the ground in the running game during the Week 15 contest.
Chicago had success running the ball throughout the course of the entire game, finishing with a total of 42 carries for 199 yards and two touchdowns out of the backfield. When it comes specifically to Montgomery, he lit up the field with 32 rushes for 146 yards and two touchdowns to pace the Bears.
Minnesota run defense has been pretty inconsistent this year, and that was once again the case on Sunday against Chicago.
