Predicting every game of the 2021 NFL Playoffs
AFC Wild Card: Indianapolis Colts (7) at Buffalo Bills (2)
Earlier in the season, I was excited about the potential the Colts possessed as a sleeper team in the AFC. Unfortunately, a matchup with the Bills in the first round just about nixes any confidence I had in their ability to win a single postseason game.

Right now, the Bills are arguably the hottest team in the NFL. They’ve been rolling through the final week of the season, relying on the amazing arm of Josh Allen and a stifling Buffalo defense to pound opponents into submission. While the Colts defense is a formidable foe, their inconsistent offense seems too big an incumbrance to overcome.
The Bills will be all over Philip Rivers. Chances are they’ll bring pressure early and often, forcing the veteran quarterback into many of those poor decisions that often create turnovers. Once that happens and the ball is in Allen’s hands, it’s all downhill from there.
Buffalo gets the first blowout win of the postseason, running over the Colts at home and striking fear in whoever is unlucky enough to match up with them in the Divisional Round. Look out, because the Bills are gaining steam quickly as one of the favorites to take home a Lombardi Trophy in 2021.
Prediction: Bills win 43-17
