51. . . Previous: 13th. Los Angeles Rams. 12. team

The Los Angeles Rams needed a win on Sunday to keep from anything crazy happening and they had to turn to the untested John Wolford with Jared Goff injured. And while the game started out miserably, he ended up shaking off the first-play pick to lead his Rams to their 10th win of the season.

"“John Wolford’s NFL debut started with an interception on his first throw. It ended with the inexperienced quarterback fearlessly leading the Los Angeles Rams back to the playoffs. And though Wolford capably did his part, everybody in the Rams’ jubilant locker room realized they owed this achievement to a dominant defense that scored as many points as the Rams’ offense — and a couple more than the Arizona Cardinals — in Los Angeles’ 18-7 victory Sunday.” — AP via ESPN"

L.A. hopes that Goff can be back for the playoffs and if he is, they’re going to be an interesting team to watch. They drew the Seahawks for the first round and while they lost to them in Week 16, they did win 23-16 earlier in the season which proves they can get it done as long as they’re playing to their potential.

Of course, almost everything depends on the health of Goff. They have some elite players on defense with Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey, but they need someone who can push the ball downfield. Wolford was impressive against the Cardinals who were without Kyler Murray for much of the game, but he can’t outduel Russell Wilson.
