FanDuel NFL Wild Card Round Picks and Advice: Tight End

Similar to quarterback, your options at tight end are extremely limited. Mark Andrews ($7,000) is a very strong play in a likely shootout, but there is a good chance you do not have room in your salary to pay up for him. Logan Thomas ($6,400) is the second-most expensive tight end on the slate, but he is still relatively touchdown-dependent in half PPR scoring despite his insane target total.

My favorite play this week at the tight end position is Jared Cook ($5,900), who gets a fantastic matchup against a Chicago defense allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. If you want to fully punt the tight end position, Cole Kmet ($5,300) will receive the volume to pay off his salary, though he has yet to have a real blowup game.

FanDuel NFL Wild Card Round Picks and Advice: D/ST

While there are plenty of interesting options at defense this week, Seattle ($3,600) is extremely mispriced and should be in every lineup unless you have a lot of excess cash. If you have the money, New Orleans ($4600) and Tampa Bay ($4300) are the two best plays on the slate.

However, considering the Rams only have a team implied total of 19.5 points, one of the lowest on the slate, and Seattle defense has been playing much better as of late, the Seahawks are easily the best value at D/ST this week.
