Saturday Wild Card DraftKings NFL picks: Tight Ends

To say that the tight end position is barren for the DraftKings Saturday Wild Card slate would be putting it mildly. In fact, it’s pretty barren for Wild Card Weekend as a whole. So you must find the best value and roll with it.

Washington’s Logan Thomas ($4,900) is the highest-priced tight end for this slate and deservedly so. In a good matchup against a Bucs defense without one of its star linebackers, the breakout player with 34 targets over his final three games of the regular season could be in line for a big playoff performance.

My favorite play of the week if you’re looking to save more money is Rob Gronkowski ($3,900). Tom Brady is going to look for reliable faces in the playoffs and his tight end is undeniably one of those. The Washington defense hasn’t been particularly adept against the position this year, which makes Gronk a tremendous value play.

Going even cheaper, Tyler Higbee ($3,400) is a nice option given his 15 targets over the final three games, even if his production has been pedestrian. A healthy Jack Doyle ($2,900) could also be interesting. Rivers has long used his tight ends and Doyle has settled into a noticeable role in the Colts offense as of late.
