2. Anthony Harris, S

After he had an impressive 2019 campaign with the Vikings, Minnesota had high hopes for safety Anthony Harris and the back end of its defense to pick things up yet again in 2020 and build off of that performance from a year ago.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Harris, who went into last offseason looking to sign a large free-agent contract following that performance in Minnesota, ended up getting assigned a franchise tag by the Vikings after the two sides couldn’t agree to an extension but with the team wanting him to return for the 2020 campaign.

Following that somewhat surprise of bringing Harris back, the safety did manage to put together a decent season alongside fellow safety Harrison Smith in the back end of the Vikings defensive group. With that said, it’s still likely Minnesota ultimately parts ways with Harris this offseason and the two sides look elsewhere going into 2021.

In all 16 games this season, Harris finished with a career-high 104 tackles, 58 of which were solo tackles and two being tackles for loss. After recording a career-best mark of six interceptions in 2019, Harris didn’t record any interceptions this year and didn’t force any fumble either.

Despite Harris not having as many impactful plays this year compared to last season, the safety should still have a good amount of interest when he hits free agency this offseason. But Minnesota might not be willing to dish out that kind of money to a player like Harris who will turn 30 years old in 2021.
