Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson proved he can win in the playoffs

In Lamar Jackson’s first two seasons, his team entered the playoffs as AFC North champs and had all of the hype surrounding them. Both times ended in disappointment and Jackson played poorly in both losses, so naturally, the storyline surrounding him became that he can’t win in the playoffs when it matters most.

The Ravens didn’t win the AFC North this season and entered the playoffs coming off of five straight wins. They took down the Titans, a team who had embarrassed them in their past two meetings, and Jackson was dominant in the win.

He proved he can lead the Ravens to a playoff victory and that was huge for Jackson and this Ravens team.

While the Ravens faltered in Buffalo, they got past their first playoff opponent the week prior and that was a big enough accomplishment for this team. Jackson isn’t 0-3 in playoff games and now he knows that he can win in the postseason.

Losing to the Titans last week would have brought a lot of questions about Jackson and if he was indeed the right guy for Baltimore, but now the Ravens don’t need to ask those questions.
