FanDuel Conference Championship picks: Tight End

As always, Travis Kelce ($8,600) is the number one tight end play on the slate. Without any great punt options on the slate, it is hard to not pay up for Kelce. You basically want to view him as an expensive wide receiver that you may play in place of Hill or Adams.

Even though Robert Tonyan ($5,700) has only cracked 18 yards once in the past four weeks, he still has a fantastic matchup against a Tampa Bay defense that allowed nine touchdowns to opposing tight ends in the regular season.

Though it gets pretty barren after that, it is worth noting that Cameron Brate ($5,000) has ran more routes than Rob Gronkowski ($5,200) in the playoffs thus far and is currently beating him in yardage 130-to-14.

Defense is truly a crapshoot this week, as arguably the four best offenses remain in the playoffs. My main recommendation would be to make the rest of your lineup and play whichever defense your remaining salary allows.

It is worth noting that, if Patrick Mahomes is unable to play, Buffalo ($3,400) becomes a lock for your lineup. However, if not it is anyone’s guess as to which defense performs so it makes the most sense to spend up at positions where you can take advantage of statistics and your knowledge.
