Winning the NFC East and making it into the playoffs is an accomplishment, even if it’s not an overwhelming one. And that’s what the Washington Football Team accomplished despite a tumultuous season at quarterback.

They began the season with hope that young Dwayne Haskins could assume the role of a leader under center. When that fell by the wayside, Kyle Allen took the reins. After an injury, that made way for veteran Alex Smith to lock up Comeback Player of the Year. Then it was Taylor Heinicke who actually started the Wild Card Round playoff game and gave the eventual champion Buccaneers all they could handle.
Now that Haskins is gone and given the nature of the other options at the position, suffice it to say that Washington has a lot to figure out regarding their quarterback spot moving forward. But calling the Seahawks to try and work on a trade with Wilson would be a decisive move that would fix their current issues immediately.
Wilson working with Ron Rivera in Washington would be a nice match of personalities and the quarterback would help to provide further in-house stability that the Football Team is trying to find after such a turmoil-filled history while also steadying the position for the first time in a long time as well.
