Orlando Brown Jr. trade landing spot No. 4: Los Angeles Chargers

Despite how poorly things went for the Los Angeles Chargers last season as it pertains to their record, the future is looking bright in the very immediate sense. Part of that is the hire of new head coach Brandon Staley, who should be able to take advantage of the talent defensively. But more importantly, the rookie season we just saw from Justin Herbert means that the Bolts are in a great spot to build with at quarterback.

But that means that the offensive line must be addressed. Last offseason, the Chargers traded their left tackle, Russell Okung, for guard Trai Turner. That move was made to get younger and improve on the interior but it does leave a hole at tackle. They are primed to make a big leap in wins for the 2021 season, though, so a win-now move of adding Brown could be in the cards.

Orlando Brown Jr. trade landing spot No. 3: Miami Dolphins

Speaking of win-now moves, that’s what we should start to see from the Miami Dolphins soon. This team went from a joke to winning double-digit games last season and is now slated to make a big leap. But they have to make the right moves.

One of the teams often discussed as a landing spot for Deshaun Watson this offseason, the truth of the matter is that whoever is at quarterback — Watson or Tua Tagovailoa — in South Beach needs to have better protection. While they could bank on the development of someone like Austin Jackson, they could also make waves with a big trade.

Brown would be the immediate best tackle option on the roster and come to play on the left side. Moreover, he would be brought into a team that is on the rise and could increase their chances of contending by adding him. Still armed with tons of draft capital, Miami would make a ton of sense.
