Denver Broncos dream free agency target No. 3: Corey Linsley, C

While the Broncos added Dotson in free agency, the franchise addressed the interior of the offensive line via the draft. Denver selected both Netane Muti and Lloyd Cushenberry in the mid rounds. But while the former played only two games in his rookie season, Cushenberry played a bigger role at center. Unfortunately, he struggled quite a bit at that role in his first year in the league.

Meanwhile, the Packers boasted one of the best offensive lines in the league last year, which led to their top-tier offensive performance overall. Part of that was undoubtedly due to perennial All-Pro tackle David Bakhtiari and young guard Elgton Jenkins.

However, center Corey Linsely was a massive piece of the puzzle as well. He has been a quality player for the majority of his career but he put it all together in the 2020 season. He was dominant as a pass blocker and quality in the rushing attack as well. He allowed only four pressures over 437 pass-blocking snaps.

There are not many quality centers on the free-agent market. Perhaps the next best options are David Andrews and 35-year-old Alex Mack. Linsley is head and shoulders above that group and, as such, he should be in high demand. However, he could be a player worth paying up for if the Broncos are in need.
