All eyes are on the Buffalo Bills after a phenomenal year but, looking at their 2021 schedule, which games should fans already be eagerly anticipating?

Although they came up short of a Super Bowl appearance last season, one thing is for sure: These aren’t your father’s Buffalo Bills.

Taking a look at the Buffalo Bills 2021 schedule, the games that fans will be anticipating the most will take place in the first half of the season. That’s not just because the team will be setting the tone for trying to replicate last year’s success but also the level of opponent they get early on in the season.

Without further adieu, let’s take a look at the three biggest games on the Buffalo Bills schedule.

Biggest must-see games on the Buffalo Bills 2021 schedule

Week 1: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Bills have won the last two matchups against the Steelers, including a 26-15 win last December on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers will return to Highmark Stadium with a lot of new parts on offense, including a slightly revamped offensive line and a new running back in Najee Harris.

Buffalo struggled against the run last season and Pittsburgh struggled to run. Also, keep in mind that the Steelers were missing Devin Bush and Joe Haden in last season’s matchup. With both teams at full health, it will be interesting to see how Josh Allen fairs against the Steelers defense and if the Bills defense can get to Najee Harris early and often.

Week 3: vs. Washington Football Team

Of all the places Ryan Fitzpatrick has played, this very well may be the best roster he has ever had around him. We all know about the incredible front four of the Washington Football Team, led by 2020 Defensive Rookie of the Year Chase Young but Washington is no longer a one-trick pony.

Their offense brought in wide receivers Curtis Samuel from the Panthers and drafted Dyami Brown from North Carolina. If Buffalo isn’t too careful, we could see another edition of Fitzmagic from the former Bills signal-caller.

Week 5: at Kansas City Chiefs

This is by far the biggest game on the Bills’ schedule. The rematch of the AFC Championship Game in the same place they held an early lead before the Chiefs made a comeback to advance to their second straight Super Bowl. The Bills lost to the Chiefs in the regular season, as well, in 2020 and it appears as if Patrick Mahomes is the thorn in Buffalo’s side they just can’t rip off.
