Maybe things are better after beating up on America’s Team in the finale, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are already having trouble with their new coach.

Pete Prisco of CBS says that Urban Meyer hasn’t gotten off to a good start and that the team hasn’t approved of the way he approaches preseason games.

"“They haven’t gotten off to a good start, that’s obvious,” Prisco recently said on The DA Show according to Bryan DeArdo of CBSSports. “He clearly does not like losing, even if it’s in the preseason. I heard he had a rough go of it last week just because he lost his first preseason game, and that’s not an attitude that you need to have in the NFL.”"

Prisco continued from there, saying Meyer brought in some of his philosophies from college which hasn’t gone over well in the locker room.

"“He’s got to change a few things. He brought a bunch of college-like things to the program which I don’t necessarily agree with. I’ve heard some of the players aren’t thrilled with them either.”"

Hiring Meyer was a risky proposition. He had a lot of success in the collegiate world but oftentimes, coaches that have been in the NCAA as long as he has struggle with the transition to the NFL.

This doesn’t mean he can’t turn it around but the start isn’t good by any means.
