New York Giants. 26. team. 31. . . Previous: 26th

One team that made some good moves in the offseason was the New York Giants. They added Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, Kyle Rudolph, and John Ross to an offense that needed a lot of talent added to it.

They also get Saquon Barkley back after he missed nearly all of the 2020 season. All of that could lead to them being contenders in the NFC East — if Daniel Jones can take a step forward as a player. And that’s a big ‘if’ right now.

On Sunday, he had some bad throws and some good ones as well. Overall, he showed promise says Matt Lombardo of GMen HQ.

"“Struggles with turnovers aren’t new for Jones, and while the supporting cast will be dramatically improved around him when the rest of the NY Giants [healthy] starters take the field against the Broncos Week 1, Sunday night makes it easy to wonder if Jones’ decision-making will improve at all. If Jones can make more throws like he did to Smith, he’ll go a long way towards answering the biggest question of the upcoming season. Grade: B-” — Lombardo, GMen HQ"

Jones will have to prove he can get it done consistently but he has the talent. The question is whether or not he can put it all together for 17 games and be the player this team needs him to be.
