The Dallas Cowboys are looking for their third win in a row as they face the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. In order to get that victory, these 3 need to play well
After a dominant performance in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys now prepare to welcome the Carolina Panthers to AT&T Stadium.
Carolina comes in with a record of 3-0 and shouldn’t be taken lightly — even though two of those wins came against the New York Jets and Houston Texans.
Dallas needs to make sure they stay as sharp as they were for the majority of their home opener and they also need these three players to step up and play well.
Dallas Cowboys player who needs to step up No. 3: Terence Steele, Right Tackle
La’el Collins was hit with an odd five-game suspension, which ended up making a lot of sense once reports surfaced that he tried to bribe a drug-test collector. With him out, the Cowboys turned to Terence Steele, who was a liability last season when called upon.
This year, however, Steele has looked like a completely different player. He’s performing like a top-10 offensive tackle and that’s played a huge part in the offense continuing to shine even without Collins.
Having said that, he will face a tough test on Sunday as he will be primarily lined up across from Haason Reddick, who has been playing well since joining the Panthers this offseason. Reddick has 4.5 sacks in the first three games and offers a speed rush that could cause problems for Steele.
As long as he can keep Reddick off Dak Prescott, the offense should be fine but things could get ugly if the Carolina edge rusher has his way with the second-year right tackle.
