Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 3: Blake Jarwin scores twice

The New York Giants have to despise Blake Jarwin as much as any player on the Cowboys roster. Jarwin caught his first three career touchdown passes in Week 17 of his second campaign — all at the expense of the Giants.

In all, he had 119 yards on seven receptions in that win for the Cowboys — all of which remain career-highs for him. In 2019, he again upset the Giants by scoring a touchdown against them in Week 1 and then another in Week 8. That means five of Jarwin’s seven career touchdowns came against New York, which gives him the mantra of a Giant-killer.

So far in 2021, Jarwin has just nine receptions for 89 yards and just got his first score of the season in their win over the Carolina Panthers. It’s been a slow start to the season as he’s coming back from an ACL suffered in Week 1 of the 2020 campaign. He’s also having to fight for time with Dalton Schultz who broke out last season after Jarwin went down.

He’s still getting plenty of snaps and that should be the case again on Sunday and with his ability to find openings in the Giants defense, look for him to once again haul in multiple touchdowns passes. This prediction is that he scores twice in the red zone, further cementing himself as one of the most hated Cowboys in New York.
