Dallas Cowboys bold prediction No. 2: Trevon Diggs makes it 5 in a row

Trevon Diggs has been on an absolute tear this season. He recorded an interception in each of the first three games as he picked off Tom Brady in Week 1, Justin Herbert in Week 2, and Jalen Hurts in Week 3 — taking that one to the house as he intercepted his former teammate who was throwing to another former teammate of his, DeVonta Smith.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he then intercepted Sam Darnold two times in Week 4, making history for Dallas since no other player has started out the first four games of the season with at least one pick for this historic franchise.

Diggs has been impressive and he’s been doing this against talented wideouts. He’s been asked to cover Mike Evans, Keenan Allen, the already mentioned DeVonta Smith, and D.J. Moore thus far. On Sunday, he could end up drawing another tough matchup as the Giants feature Kenny Golladay — although he’s dealing with a groin injury that’s limited him.

Even so, Diggs will have his hands full as long as he suits up. But at this point, we shouldn’t bet against him. In fact, this prediction states that we should bet on him making it five games in a row where he takes the ball away as he scores interception No. 6 in Week 5.
