WR. Alabama. John Metchie. 23. 15. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player

23. New Orleans Saints: John Metchie, WR, Alabama

Every year, there are plenty of us who want to mock a wide receiver to the New Orleans Saints. Then, they end up taking a player at a position no one saw coming. But that won’t stop us from continuing to throw a wideout under their logo in these 2022 NFL mock draft scenarios.

This time, it’s John Metchie from Alabama who gets the call and it really feels as though this is the season New Orleans needs to pull the trigger on a first-round receiver. Michael Thomas hasn’t been on the field in an eternity and he wasn’t happy with the team last we heard.

That leaves them with a collection of players who aren’t true No. 1 (or even No. 2) players at the position. Methcie should help tremendously in that department.

Pick Analysis. South Carolina. Kingsley Enagbare. 24. player. 13. Scouting Report. EDGE

24. Los Angeles Chargers: Kingsley Enagbare, EDGE, South Carolina

Joey Bosa continues to be the lone ranger on the edge for the Los Angeles Chargers and adding a running mate for him could really open things up for the entire defense. That’s the route they go here with Kingslety Enagbare from South Carolina who has been developing each season as a pass rusher.

This year, he has 4.5 sacks in seven games for the Gamecocks. He offers a good mix of size and athleticism and with some NFL coaching, he could become a more consistent pass rusher.
