2022 NFL Mock Draft: Giants take Malik Willis, Treylon Burks to Browns

11. New England Patriots: George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue
Matt Judon has been exactly what the New England Patriots thought he could be but as we saw against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, one pass rusher wasn’t enough to get after the quarterback when they were in dire need of a stop in the fourth quarter and overtime.
Here, they get another player who can bring the heat off the edge with George Karlaftis from Purdue. The Boilermaker defensive lineman can play on the edge as well as inside, and the Pats love guys who bring such versatility.
Karlaftis doesn’t have a ton of sacks now but with his athleticism and power, he should be able to develop more at the next level.
12. Miami Dolphins (via San Francisco 49ers): Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
With the pick acquired from the 49ers, the Miami Dolphins get some much-needed help for their offensive line with the selection of Tyler Linderbaum. Miami has put a lot into their line in recent years but the truth is, it’s still a struggling unit.
Adding Linderbaum gives them a plug-and-play center who has a high football IQ and plays with a bit of a mean streak. His addition could help the guys around him with his ability to make calls at the line and set the tone.
