15. team. 60. . . Previous: 18th. Minnesota Vikings

A 1-3 start had things looking bad for the Minnesota Vikings. They lost to the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals by a combined four points before scoring a win over the Seattle Seahawks. They then lost to the Cleveland Browns 14-7 which left them two games under 500.

Then, they turned it on over the next two weeks as they knocked off the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers. Now, they head to their bye week which gives them time to prepare for the Dallas Cowboys on Halloween.

That’s going to be a tough assignment for them as the Cowboys are 5-1 and in their bye week as well. Minnesota also knows how tough of an ask it is to beat this team since they lost to them last season despite Andy Dalton being at quarterback instead of Dak Prescott.

Having said that, Prescott is currently in a walking boot which could put his status for Week 8 in doubt. Even if the Vikings win that game, things don’t get any easier for them with road games against the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers up next followed by their first game of the season against the Green Bay Packers.

If they’re not careful, this stretch could end up being detrimental to them. If they come out of this in good shape, it should set them up for a nice run down the stretch.
