2021 NFL Power Rankings Week 9: Packers take top spot, Browns in a tailspin

All Geno Smith needed to look like a star was a game against the Jaguars. The Seattle Seahawks had their best game with Smith under center as he was a cool 20-of-24 with 195 yards and two touchdowns in their lopsided 31-7 win.
They’re still not a major threat at 3-5 but they got a win they were supposed to, which is all they can do at this point.
It’s all about timing. Both Carson Wentz and Ryan Tannehill had two interceptions but Wentz threw his at costly times. First was a pick-six in the fourth that put the Titans on top.
The Indianapolis Colts then sent it to overtime but Wentz threw his second pick, which was taken in by Kevin Byard. That one led to the game-winning field goal for the Titans. Wentz has some great moments but overall, he leaves a lot to be deisred and the Colts need to spend the rest of this season trying to decide if he’s the guy going forward.
It was quite the fourth quarter for the San Francisco 49ers who scored 18 points in the final period to secure a comeback win over the Chicago Bears. The final score was 33-22 as they proved to be the more resilient team.
Having said that, they’re still just 3-4 on the season so there’s a lot of room for improvement. They also play in the same division as the L.A. Rams and Arizona Cardinals who are well out in front.
The Cleveland Browns continue to trend in the wrong direction. Once seen as contenders in the AFC, they now can’t seem to buy a consistent game offensively.
Their wideouts are overrated, the quarterback misses a lot of throws high, and the defense is perpetually injured. None of that is good and the 4-4 Browns are in danger of spiraling out of control.
