Quarterly MVP Rankings: 14. Carson Wentz +7000

If you want to call it a rebirth of sorts, you certainly can but we aren’t completely sold on Carson Wentz. By the looks of it, neither are oddsmakers.

The Indianapolis Colts had an awful start to the season at 0-3. They’ve bounced back nicely since, winning three out of their last four games. Wentz has been pretty solid throughout. He’s thrown for a shade over 2,000 yards. Wentz has also been highly impressive with the ball, throwing only three interceptions and 17 touchdowns.

Remember in 2017 when Wentz looked like the best quarterback in the league. Well, he hasn’t quite gotten back to that form but he’s been solid throughout. The Colts could have their quarterback of the present and for years to come if Wentz can keep it up but in terms of his actually winning league MVP this year, he has no chance at doing that.

What can he do to turn things around? Well, the Colts will have to start winning more impressively and more often to do that.
