Quarterly MVP Rankings: 20. Devante Adams +25000

We love Devante Adams, we truly do. He’s a terrific wide receiver and you can easily make the case that he’s the best in the game at his position. But, with all due respect, he shouldn’t be on this list.

How on earth is Adams ranked higher than Cooper Kupp? Presently, he has more receiving yards, touchdowns, and overall receptions. Also, Kupp’s Rams have lost only one game all season long so far.

Does Adams have a chance at winning the MVP award if he can continue to rack up the numbers and come close to leading the league in receiving yards? Of course, he could. But is he likely to do any of that and usurp all of the names we’ve rattled off before him? We highly doubt that.
