Plays on Monday Night Football vs. Chicago Bears

There was a Week 1 win that had everyone scratching their heads followed by three-straight losses. That was how the Pittsburgh Steelers started out the season as losses to the Las Vegas Raiders, Cincinnati Bengals, and Green Bay Packers had us all wondering how they beat the Buffalo Bills to kick off the season.

At 1-3, they appeared dead in the water but then they got on a roll. The Steelers knocked off the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks which set them up with a chance to get above 500 while facing the Cleveland Browns.

In an ugly 15-10 game, they walked away with a win and are now 4-3. Critics will say they still have just one quality win still, but they can’t help who is on the schedule. And now, they might have a shot of reeling off another couple of wins due to that very schedule.

This week, they play the struggling Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. Should they get a win there and move to 5-3, they could wind up in an excellent position since their following game is against the Detroit Lions who are still looking for win No. 1.

Pittsburgh is still alive and kicking and with their veteran experience, that could be all they need.
