The Dallas Cowboys took it to the Atlanta Falcons in a game that was decided before the half. That made it hard to find any duds this week.

What a way to bounce back. The Dallas Cowboys were embarrassed last week at home by the Denver Broncos and then took out their aggression on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.

Dallas put up 29 points in the second quarter which led to a 36-3 lead at the half and it was 43-3 when both teams pulled their starters.

It was a lopsided contest and that made it hard to find many duds in this one. That’s why this week’s “studs and duds” is overly heavy on the stud side of things.

Dallas Cowboys Stud: Dak Prescott

Last week, Dak Prescott was off with his throws. He will be the first to tell you that and he made up for this in Week 10.

Prescott completed 24-of-31 passes for 296 yards with two touchdown passes and one on the ground. He was pulled with roughly 11 minutes to go in the fourth and got to sit back and enjoy the huge win.

Dallas Cowboys Stud: Jourdan Lewis

Things got a little chippy on the Falcons opening drive when Jayron Kearse lit up Russell Gage on a third-down pass. Despite the ball clearly hitting the turf, the refs called it complete and Dallas had to waste a challenge to get it overturned.

While this was playing out, Gage and Jourdan Lewis got in one another’s faces as Lewis was clearly unhappy with something Gage said. Perhaps this fired him up because he shut down Atlanta on the following drive.

First, Lewis broke up a third-and-seven pass intended for Kyle Pitts and then got his revenge on Gage when he had another impressive pass deflection as the Falcons went for it on fourth down — getting the ball back for his offense. He kept up his great night and even had an interception in the fourth quarter off Josh Rosen.
