The Philadelphia Eagles scored a big win this weekend as they knocked off the Denver Broncos on the road by a score of 30-13. In the win, they used three different 10-point spurts to slow down the Broncos and secure the win.

First, they jumped out to a 10-0 lead but the Broncos then tied it up but the Eagles again scored 10 in a row before hitting halftime. After making it 20-13, Denver had to deal with the Eagles again going on a run as they dropped 10 again.

Philadelphia had help from everywhere as they were able to get two touchdown passes from Jalen Hurts, both to DeVonta Smith who has been well worth the investment since taking him with their first pick this offseason. Hurts added 53 yards on the ground while Jordan Howard had 83 and Boston Scott added 81.

Oddly enough, head coach Nick Sirianni said he didn’t want to be a “running team” but the Eagles put up 214 yards on the ground. They also had some points from their defense as Darius Slay picked up a fumble and ran it back 83-yards for a touchdown.

Philly is now 4-2 on the road and 0-4 at home. If they could ever figure out how to win in front of their own fans, they could start to contend again in the NFC East.
