NFL: Ranking the worst QB Chemistry in the league: 30. Dak Prescott to Blake Jarwin – Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys passing attack is actually in really good shape. Since we have to pick someone, we went with Blake Jarwin. The Cowboys second tight end isn’t doing the best in the passing game.

Jarwin plays roughly 50 percent of the offensive snaps. He does a good job at run blocking, so he is likely getting out there for mostly running plays. He’s still out there for routes. Prescott just has better chemistry with other players.

Like some others on this list, this isn’t necessarily Jarwin’s fault. The Cowboys have Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Dalton Schultz to throw to. However, Jarwin was once considered the favorite to take the starting tight end job when Jason Witten left. He went into last season as the starter, but he suffered a torn ACL in Week 1. Now, he’s dealing with a hip issue where he’s back on injured reserve. He’s never going to be able to fix the chemistry issues if he can’t stay on the field.

Jarwin was close to making things look good for himself, but it’s fallen apart in the last two seasons. He’s in his fifth season with the Cowboys, and he basically is what he is at this point.
