Life without Derrick Henry is tough. Life without Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, and Julio Jones is nearly impossible.

That’s how it felt for the Tennessee Titans who just dropped their second game in a row. Suddenly, a team that was recently 8-2 and on top of the AFC is sitting at 8-4 and it doesn’t feel like a good 8-4.

While they did manage to put up 270 yards and a touchdown on the ground — that touchdown was a beautiful 68 yarder from Dontrell Hilliard who was recently called up from the practice squad — Tennessee got just 93 yards from Ryan Tannehill.

Even with the low output through the air, they were in the game heading into the second half as it was a 16-13 game. But then, the Patriots outscored them 20-0 in the final quarter, and the more they needed to lean on Tannehill, the more insurmountable the lead seemed.

Of course, it’s hard to beat up Tannehill too much due to the aforementioned injuries. There were already questions about how well he would do without Henry but when the wideouts started to suffer injuries as well, it became much less about Tannehill and more about the overall lack of options in the passing game.

The good news is, they’re still the only team in the AFC South with a winning record after Indianapolis lost but they have to get as healthy as possible in order to make any noise in the postseason.
