FanDuel DFS NFL picks and advice for Week 13 of the 2021 NFL season to help you build the perfect DFS fantasy football lineup.

Welcome back to another week of FanDuel DFS advice, this time for Week 13 of the NFL season. Week 12 was my best week of DFS yet, though it was mostly in tournaments and not cash lineups. It was one of those top-heavy weeks where if you did not have Leonard Fournette, Joe Mixon, or Cordarrelle Patterson it was going to be very hard to cash and if you had one or more you could have taken down a tournament.

Looking ahead to Week 13, the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, and Carolina Panthers are all on bye. Additionally, players from the New Orleans Saints, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills will all be unavailable on the main slate.

When talking about players I will reference the salaries and salary cap of a typical FanDuel tournament. I will also show a complete sample lineup, which consists of nine positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, and DEF.

Note that your individual strategy should change based on the type of contests you enter, though I will reference different strategies for both cash and tournament formats.

Without further ado, here are picks and FanDuel DFS advice for every position for Week 13 of the NFL season!

FanDuel DFS NFL Week 13 picks and lineup advice: Quarterback

With quarterbacks like Mahomes, Prescott, and Allen unavailable on the main slate, the options at quarterback are a little worse than we may be used to. Lamar Jackson ($8500) is the most expensive quarterback on the slate, but he is still one of my favorite quarterback plays of the week. He has had two pretty bad weeks in a row but gets a Week 13 matchup against a Pittsburgh defense that is on the decline. With his rushing ability always there and his passing volume at an all-time high, Jackson can easily drop 30+ points this week.

Tom Brady ($8100) is the safest play this week, and probably the best play in cash formats. Coming off a week where Leonard Fournette stole the show, Brady should get back to his multi-touchdown ways in Week 13 against a weak Atlanta secondary.

Matthew Stafford ($7800) has looked a bit shaky in recent weeks, and the early season MVP talks have quickly quieted. However, this is a great spot for the Rams to get right back on track against a terrible Jacksonville team as 13-point favorites.

Derek Carr ($7500) is leading the NFL in passing yards and gets a matchup with a very soft Washington secondary. Waller being likely out certainly hurts Carr’s upside, but he should remain a solid play in cash formats if you can not afford to spend up for Brady.

My favorite tournament play of the week is Russell Wilson ($7300), as people are fresh off watching the Seahawks collapse on national television and are going up against one of the hottest teams in the NFL in the 49ers. However, the Niners’ pass defense has still been pretty vulnerable and if you still believe in Wilson as a player, this is your chance to capitalize.

As for super cheap quarterback options, there are not many I like this week. Matt Ryan ($6800) is about as low as I would go, as he should see very heavy volume while playing from behind against the Bucs. The Bucs are also a favorable matchup for quarterbacks, with a stellar run defense and a depleted secondary, Ryan should be able to find some success this week.
