The Chicago Bears take on the New York Giants in their 2021 home finale. Here is what to watch for in the game.

Well, after minicamps in spring, then training camp, and preseason in summer, we are getting to the end of the season. We got to watch the Chicago Bears play the regular season through the fall and winter and no, it hasn’t been a pretty sight to behold.

The Bears are 5-10 overall and, after winning their first two games at home, lost their last five. This week, they try to end that streak and win their final home game against the New York Giants. They haven’t won a game at Soldier Field since Week 4 against the Detroit Lions.

Things to watch in Chicago Bears Week 17 matchup against the Giants

The New York Giants come in struggling as much as the Bears have this season. They have a 4-11 record. They’ve lost four games in a row and six of their last eight games. They also have problems with their head coach. Just like Matt Nagy with the Bears, Joe Judge is on a hot seat after what has gone on this season. Judge, however, may survive another season, while Nagy is likely fired at the end of the season.

The Bears, after ending a five-game losing streak, just ended a three-game losing streak after a comeback victory over the Seattle Seahawks. They scored late in the game and converted a two-point conversion on a magical drive that the team hasn’t had too much of in 2021. It will be a battle of two once-proud franchises that have hit hard times.
