As the NFL 2021 season comes to an end, we look at three big-name quarterbacks who could be playing their final games with their respective teams

There are just two games remaining in the NFL 2021 season, and there’s always a lot of drama down the stretch. As we enter Week 17, there are several teams trying to lock up their divisions and several others trying to get themselves in position for a playoff berth.

Lost in all this postseason talk is the fact that several big-name players could be finishing up their careers with their respective teams. And while this is often the case every year, the 2021 season seems to have a lot of big-name quarterbacks who could be on the move.

Here we jump right in and identify three starting signal-callers who could be in their final two weeks with their current team.

3. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger was taken 11th overall out of Miami (OH) by the Pittsburgh Steelers — and was the third quarterback taken in a historic class. He’s now the final one playing as Eli Manning and Philip Rivers each retired over the past two seasons. However, this could also be the last for Big Ben.

Recently, Roethlisberger spoke on his future and said “all signs” are pointing to his Monday night game against the Browns as his final home game at Heinz Field.

While that could mean he would suit up for another team, there’s also a real possibility that the soon-to-be 40-year-old might just hang it up as well after this season. Big Ben has put together an impressive career but he’s also taken quite a beating and it wouldn’t be a shock at all to see him end a career that’s sure to end up placing him in the Hall of Fame.
