FanDuel DFS NFL picks and advice for Week 17 of the 2021 NFL season to help you build the perfect DFS fantasy football lineup.

Welcome back to yet another week of FanDuel DFS advice, this time for Week 17 of the NFL season. I had a relatively successful Week 16, easily profiting in cash lineups where I leaned into the popular cheap running backs but struggled a bit in tournaments due to my fading of the Bengals.

Week 17 is the biggest slate of the year so far, with no Thursday or Saturday games and no teams on bye. The only teams that are off the main slate this week are the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Browns. Additionally, COVID is still running rampant in the NFL, but with constantly changing policies you need to be up to date with who is active and who is inactive come game day.

When talking about players I will reference the salaries and salary cap of a typical FanDuel tournament. I will also show a complete sample lineup, which consists of nine positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, and DEF.

Note that your individual strategy should change based on the type of contests you enter, though I will reference different strategies for both cash and tournament formats.

Without further ado, here are picks and FanDuel DFS advice for every position for Week 17 of the NFL season!

FanDuel DFS NFL Week 17 picks and lineup advice: Quarterback

Josh Allen ($8800) is the most expensive quarterback on this slate and looks to be a fantastic play against a weak Falcons secondary this week. The Bills have had their struggles this year, but they have routinely blown out bad teams and the Falcons certainly fall into that category.

Patrick Mahomes ($8500) is also a great play against a poor Cincinnati secondary in a game with a 51 point over-under.

Looking a little lower, Matthew Stafford ($7600) is in a fantastic spot against a Ravens secondary that has been getting torched week after week and now has to go up against one of the most prolific offenses in the league. Even though Stafford has struggled a bit in recent weeks, this should be a get-right spot for him.

Dak Prescott ($7400) is coming off one of his best games of the season and is a super cheap play in a matchup against an average Arizona secondary. With an over-under of 51, there should be plenty of volume for Dak and I think he makes for a great play in tournaments as well.

I will also mention Tyler Huntley ($7500) who will be the starter for the Ravens this week, and while his matchup against the Rams is not ideal, I think he should be able to do enough damage with his legs to provide you with 20-plus fantasy points for your fantasy lineup.

Finally, you have to mention Trey Lance ($6400), who I think has to be your cash format quarterback this week. In his lone start this year he only put up fifteen fantasy points, but that was against a stout Cardinals defense and without throwing a passing touchdown.

Now he gets a great matchup against a poor Texans defense with all of his weapons fully healthy. At this price and the roster percentage he will carry, you have to play Lance in cash but I do not mind fading him in tournaments.
