Not long ago, the Baltimore Ravens were 8-3 and in control of the AFC North. They were also in line to contend for the No. 1 seed in the AFC but then they started to fall apart.

One issue was the loss of Lamar Jackson, although Tyler Huntley has performed incredibly well in his absence. Their other issue has been closing out games.

Of their five losses, the Ravens lost three of them by one point and one by two points. Two of those one-point defeats ended with them going for the win via two-point conversion.

There’s still a small shot for them to sneak into the playoffs but with their countless injuries, it seems that this will only delay the inevitable.

It looked as though Carson Wentz was going to miss the Indianapolis Colts Week 17 game due to COVID. But he was able to test negative twice before Sunday and suited up to play.

Once on the field, it was evident he had not been practicing with his team as he was just a little off early. He got better but still had just 148 yards on the day — and that included an impressively lucky touchdown pass that T.Y. Hilton had land in his lap after hitting another receiver and defender.

The Colts are now 9-7 and that means they’re not going to win the AFC South since the Titans just improved to 11-5. Still, they made it interesting and can still make it to the playoffs.
