Jacksonville Jaguars target #2: Jalen Reagor, WR (Eagles)

To make this very clear, the Jacksonville Jaguars would need to trade for Jalen Reagor if they wanted to reunite him with Doug Pederson.

Reagor was a first-round pick for the Eagles in 2020, and he’s had plenty of mixed results in his first two NFL seasons. And by mixed results, I mean mostly bad with some worse than others.

Through two NFL seasons, Reagor has looked nothing like the physical speed demon who dominated for the TCU Horned Frogs. He has played in 28 NFL games and has 64 catches, three touchdowns, and averaged an embarrassingly low 9.1 yards per reception in the 2021 season.

With three first-round selections in 2022, the Eagles could be in line and going for another wide receiver in this year’s draft. As of right now, it seems like the Eagles might be willing to listen to offers from teams calling about taking on the final two years of Reagor’s contract.

A change of scenery and QB like Trevor Lawrence could potentially resurrect Reagor’s potential.

It would probably not cost the Jaguars much to get Reagor away from the Eagles, and we know that Howie Roseman is always in the mood to deal.

With DJ Chark slated to hit free agency in 2022, this is a move and fit that could make a lot of sense.
