NFL Offseason 2022: Not Enough

These teams have a positive amount of cap space, but not quite enough to do any damage unless they maneuver some contracts around.

These teams are the Ravens, Patriots, Buccaneers, Chiefs, 49ers, and Cardinals.  All of these teams made the playoffs in 2021 and don’t have a ton of holes.

Some of these teams have been good forever, so they’ll find a way to be competitive even without a ton of money to spend, but these teams are also the most likely to move from contracts around to free up enough money to get them through the offseason without any major roster changes.

I think out of all these teams, the Cardinals are the most likely team to take a step back.  The Kyler Murray/Kliff Kingsbury marriage might be on its last legs, and they have a few holes that they may not be able to fill.

Tom Brady retired, so the Buccaneers not only have a massive hole at quarterback but don’t have a ton of money to chase and trade for a veteran.
