Three Non-Rodgers QB options for Denver Broncos in 2022

Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans

I am not going to comment on his legal issues, since I am not an expert in that field.  I am a teacher, though, so I am a miracle worker!

Deshaun Watson is a Hall of Fame-caliber talent who “bad attitude’d” his way out of Houston.

He would have been on a new team if his off-the-field issues did not come to light, but it seems like that side is nearing a conclusion.

Deshaun Watson was linked to the Denver Broncos during the NFL combine, which is interesting since we didn’t hear a lot on that front for a while.

Watson would be able to go blow-for-blow with both Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert.  He would make the Denver Broncos a Super Bowl contender and the on-field success potential makes this move that much more attractive.

It would probably cost a ton to acquire Watson, but Denver has plenty of draft capital to make that happen if they wanted.  They also have a ton of cap space, so the team would have no issues fitting his $150 million extension under their cap.
