15. Philadelphia Eagles (via Miami Dolphins): George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue

The Philadelphia Eagles appear willing to let Derek Barnett leave in free agency which means they need a new defensive end. Thankfully for them, a really impressive one falls to them in this mock draft.

George Karlaftis of Purdue is being hailed as the best power rusher in this class. He boasts an NFL-ready body at 6-foot-4 and 266-pounds and showed impressive movement in the combine as well. What will really help him stand out with the Eagles fans is his high motor. This is a blue-collar player who never quits and plays with infectious energy.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (via Indianapolis Colts): Drake London, WR, USC

Philadelphia stole this pick from the Indianapolis Colts. The Eagles sent Carson Wentz to Indy where he was reunited with Frank Reich but it was just a one-season reunion. While the numbers weren’t bad for Wentz, he didn’t make plays at the right time and is already gone — and will face the Eagles twice per season as he landed with the Washington Commanders.

Even though they moved on after 17 games, Philadelphia still gets the first-round pick and they use it to land Drake London from USC. A 6-foot-4 wideout who has a basketball background, London is an intriguing prospect who topped 1,000-yards in just eight games last season.

London is coming off a broken ankle but as long as he’s healthy, he could be one of the best rookies in the NFL this coming season.
