Scouting Report. Georgia. 17. 13. Pick Analysis. LB. Nakobe Dean. player

17. Los Angeles Chargers: Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia

So far, the Los Angeles Chargers are having a great offseason. They added defensive end Khalil Mack in a trade with Chicago then signed cornerback J.C. Jackson away from the New England Patriots. On top of that, they retained wideout Mike Williams, who was quarterback Justin Herbert’s favorite target a season ago.

The good moves keep pouring in for the Chargers as they add Nakobe Dean at No. 17 in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Dean was a stud for the Georgia Bulldogs who made one great play after another. He took advantage of so much attention being paid to the players around him and with Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack playing in front of him in L.A., more of the same should be expected.

18. player. 15. WR. Ohio State. Chris Olave. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

18. New Orleans Saints: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

It seemed as though Deshaun Watson could have been heading to the New Orleans Saints but then he ended up choosing the Cleveland Browns. The good news for New Orleans is that he didn’t choose the Atlanta Falcons of Carolina Panthers. Also, they could still turn to Jameis Winston who was winning for them in 2021 before tearing his ACL.

Looking forward to 2022, they could improve their chances by adding another wideout to pair with Michael Thomas — who should be back to full health this season. They do that by selecting Chris Olave, who played for their favorite school — Ohio State.

Olave is a speedster who can take advantage of the attention Thomas gets but is more than just a deep threat. He could end up being the best No. 2 receiver they have had in several years.
