NFL Free Agency: Tua Tagovailoa’s new best friend: Terron Armstead

The Miami Dolphins had the worst offensive line in 2021 according to PFF. For the franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to be successful, he has to be well protected.

The Dolphins have been winners in free agency though

The Miami Dolphins have made two things clear this off-season. They needed weapons for Tua as they signed Chase Edmonds and traded for Tyreek Hill. Two players who are playmakers with the ball in their hands.

Moving on to the offensive line, the Dolphins signed Terror Armstead to a five-year deal. Armstead was ranked as the fourth-best offensive tackle before the 2021 season started.

Due to injury, Armstead appeared in just eight games, allowing 12 pressures in those games and posting an 85.3 pass-blocking grade.

In addition, Dolphin fans should be thrilled with the signing as Armstead has the fastest 40 yard dash time in history for an offensive lineman.

In what should be a high-powered, speedy offense, Armstead fits right in with what coach McDaniel is trying to accomplish in Miami.
