Top five NFL teams in NFC heading into 2022
1. Los Angeles Rams
It’s only fair to put the Los Angeles Rams as the number one seed in the NFC after their remarkable Super Bowl 56 run.
They were built as a superteam to win the Super Bowl, and they did just that. led by Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp on offense, the dynamic duo had one of the best receiving seasons in NFL history.
On defense, Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey kept the defense good enough to make the plays necessary. Andrew Whitworth retired, but they re-signed Joe Noteboom, who is a skilled and underrated player.
They also signed Allen Robinson and shipped Robert Woods to the Titans, along with signing Bobby Wagner.
The Rams are clearly going all in yet again after giving Matthew Stafford a massive contract extension.
It’ll be another wildly successful season for the Rams. Sean McVay might have his best team on paper and has never had a losing season.
With the weakening of the NFC West and NFC itself, the Rams could very well secure the number one seed and enjoy playoffs from their home.
Don’t be surprised to see the Rams back in the Super Bowl in 2022.
